What is a Panchang?
A Panchang is the traditional Hindu calendar and almanac used every day across India to find the most auspicious time for important work. The word literally means "five limbs", because it is built from five core elements - Tithi (lunar day), Vaar (weekday), Nakshatra (birth star), Yoga and Karana.
People check the panchang before weddings, housewarming (griha pravesh), starting a new business, travel, or any significant event. It helps you avoid inauspicious periods like Rahu Kaal and pick a shubh muhurat for success and positivity.
